Ta-da! It’s your special correspondent from Chubby mom’s house, back again with another product to introduce… and yes, I’ve brought back more Japanese souvenirs!!! 🛍️
And today’s star is none other than… lavender soap! 💜
These soaps have such a rich lavender scent that just placing them in your room or bathroom fills the air with a calming, feel-good fragrance. Let me introduce you to these amazing lavender soaps!

The lavender soap was something Chubby mom’s family bought during our trip to Sapporo, Hokkaido this past June. If you’ve ever been to Hokkaido, you probably already know about Farm Tomita—it’s that famous place with endless fields of stunning purple lavender that stretch as far as the eye can see! 🌿💜
Inside Farm Tomita, there were several souvenir shops, plus an ice cream shop and a melon store. We bought the soap from the first souvenir shop near the entrance, right next to the melon shop! They packed it so cutely in a lavender flower-themed bag (as you can see in the photo below). And if you look closely at the bag, it’s not just any packaging—it actually has detailed info about Farm Tomita printed on it! (Seriously… not just a regular bag—mind blown 🤯)

Tada~!! 🎉 What Chubby mom’s daughter bought was this adorable mini soap set with three different types of soap inside! 🧼💜
Chubby mom went for the large purple clear soap—she bought four of them to give as gifts to friends, while her daughter picked up this cute little set just for herself. Seriously, how cute and pretty is this set? On the back, there are descriptions for each type of soap.
And here’s the amazing part—each soap is individually wrapped in plastic, then packed into a plastic case, and finally put into a lavender flower gift bag. But still… the lavender scent somehow escapes all that packaging and fills the air!
It’s honestly so strong yet soft—it spreads beautifully and makes everything smell like a lavender field. 🌸✨

The plastic case opens super easily—you just flip it open from both ends, and that’s it! Very convenient packaging.
And once it was opened… wow, the lavender scent hit even stronger—like a full-on lavender explosion! 💨🌿
It smelled so good—I couldn’t get enough of it!

Tududun~ 🎵 Out of the plastic case come the three little soap buddies… and they’re just too cute! 🧼💜
Each one fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, and they all have slightly different thicknesses.
From thickest to thinnest:
Purple (Clear Soap) > White Square (Lavender Soap) > White Circle (White Soap).

I took some close-up shots of each soap—
First up is the White Soap! 🧼✨
It’s a creamy, opaque white, kind of like milk. The lavender scent is there, but it’s very soft and subtle, not overpowering at all!

Tada~! Next up is the Lavender Soap!!! 💜🌿
Compared to the others, the surface isn’t smooth—it’s got dried lavender petals embedded throughout.
I’m pretty sure this one’s the reason the scent was bursting through all that packaging!
It’s the source of that strong, beautiful lavender fragrance—seriously, the scent is so rich and noticeable. Just amazing! 🌸💨

And last but not least, the purple soap that represents lavender—the Clear Soap! 💜✨
It’s a translucent, soft lavender color and thick, round shape.
This one is the thickest of all three, and its scent is gentle and subtle—not strong or overpowering.

I haven’t been able to use the lavender soap yet because I still have other soaps at home… sorry about that! 😢 (I’m pretty frugal, so I’m stretching out what I have.)
Since each soap is individually wrapped in plastic, I don’t want to open them and risk them going bad. But don’t worry—I’ll definitely come back later with a full review after I start using them! So please look forward to that! (Just a little bit longer, okay?)
Even though I haven’t tried them yet, the shape, scent, and packaging are all perfectly lovely. Plus, these soaps are a unique souvenir from Hokkaido’s iconic Farm Tomita lavender fields—making them a fantastic gift to bring back from your Japan trip! (Chubby mom really did give them as gifts to friends too!)

And with that, I’ll wrap up today’s post.
I hope this review helps anyone planning a trip to Japan or anyone interested in Japanese products…
Alright then, that’s it for now—choong choong! (Bye-bye!!) 👋💜
