First, a quick overview of Heparize Drink II!!

Heparize Drink II
- Where to Buy: Mega Don Quijote, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
- Price: ¥980 (duty-free, pack of 3 bottles, 50ml each)
- Contents: Brown liquid
- Taste: Not bitter at all — sweet, with a very light cinnamon punch, like a mild Korean sujeonggwa!
- Benefits/Effects: Improves liver function, relieves fatigue, and helps with hangovers
- For hangover relief, it works well both before drinking and after.
As mentioned above, Heparize is a well-known pharmaceutical product in Japan that helps improve liver function, relieve fatigue, and ease hangovers.
During the Chubby mom family's visit to Mega Don Quijote in Sapporo, Hokkaido, the purchase of Heparize was led by none other than Chubby mom’s son — a certified drink lover.
He did some serious internet digging to find the most popular hangover remedy in Japan, and his top pick was…!! Heparize Drink!
Oh, and by the way — in a previous review, we also featured a product called "Ukon's Power", which is another hangover remedy that Chubby mom’s son selected!
(You can find the link to the Ukon’s Power review at the bottom of this post for more details!)

As expected from a liver supplement and liver function enhancer, there's a picture of a liver prominently displayed on the front of the bottle.
Each bottle contains 50ml, and since Chubby mom’s daughter has small hands, the bottle is roughly the size of her palm!
Because the bottle isn’t flat, I took several photos from different angles to show its full shape.
The Heparize product our family bought came in a bundle of three 50ml bottles, priced at ¥980 (duty-free).
So that means… each bottle costs about ¥330, which is around ₩3,300 in Korean won.
Small but pricey! A little bottle with a premium vibe.

As always, the most important information is on the back label.
The key ingredients in Heparize include:
- Liver hydrolysate (supports liver function)
- Chondroitin (supports joint and cellular health)
- Various vitamins (help with liver function and fatigue recovery)
All ingredients that are tightly packed in there for liver health and overall well-being... packed to the brim!!
Also, the expiration date is clearly printed on the bottom right corner of the label — and yes, it has a pretty long shelf life!

The cap is gold-colored, with the company name printed in red — a nice touch that gives it a premium feel.
Heparize is manufactured by Zeria Pharmaceutical, a well-known pharmaceutical company in Japan!
I even checked the bottom of the bottle, just in case there was something interesting there...
But alas, nothing of note. (What was I thinking... silly me!)

Next, I took a shot of the opened cap...
Actually, I had been saving one bottle of Heparize for this review, but Chubby mom’s son drank them all and even found the last bottle he had left. He drank it right after drinking alcohol and left just a little bit for me to review.
So please understand why the bottle in the photo already has an opened cap... ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
Our family bought two bundles of three bottles each, so a total of six bottles — but Chubby mom’s son drank them all… (such a hardcore drinker).
And his review after finishing all six bottles?
It really works!
He’s been taking it along with Ukon’s Power, and although he’s not sure if it was the combo or just one of them, he definitely felt much less hungover.
He even said he’d buy it again next time! (Awesome, awesome!)

For everyone curious about the contents, I poured the Heparize Drink into a bowl and took a photo.
The liquid is a clear brown color!
Since it’s brown, you might expect the taste to be strong or bitter, right?
But nope! There’s absolutely no bitterness at all — only sweetness!
The flavor is very, very, very mild, with a gentle hint of cinnamon punch, just like a light sujeonggwa.

Since Chubby mom’s son drank all six bottles and truly felt the effects, if you happen to be traveling in Japan or planning a trip there, and consider yourself a bit of a drinker —
for the sake of your liver health and hangover relief, you definitely should give this a try!!!

And with that, I’ll wrap up today’s post.
I hope this was helpful to those planning a trip to Japan or anyone interested in Japanese products...
Until next time, choong choong...!!
