Top Sandwich Location
Top Sandwich is located right in front of Exit 12 of Samgakji Station in Yongsan, Seoul. Interestingly, when you search for “Yongsan Top Sandwich” on Daum or Google, the shop doesn’t appear on the map. However, if you search on Naver, you’ll find a place called “The Black Top Coffee.”
Actually, Top Sandwich is located right next to The Black Top Coffee. Although they have separate signs, the two shops are connected side by side. It seems they are run by the same owner, as the Top Sandwich menu appears under The Black Top Coffee listing on Naver, and many reviews also mention Top Sandwich there.
So, when visiting, simply search “The Black Top Coffee” on Naver, Google, or Daum to find Top Sandwich easily.

Top Sandwich Menu and Prices
At Top Sandwich, the menu mainly consists of sandwiches, hot dogs, and drinks. Later, I’ll show you just how massive these sandwiches are — they’re seriously enormous. Each one is even cut in half before serving, yet even a single half is unbelievably big. For someone like Chubby Mom’s daughter, who loves eating, it was pure happiness!
There are five types of sandwiches available:
- Egg Sandwich
- Ham & Cheese Egg Sandwich
- Carrot Rapee Sandwich
- Cranberry Chicken Sandwich
- Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich
Despite their gigantic size, none of the sandwiches cost over 8,000 KRW! Here’s a summary of the menu and prices:

Next, they also sell three types of hot dogs — Basic Hot Dog, Onion Hot Dog, and Chicken Teriyaki Hot Dog. I haven’t tried them yet, but judging by the reviews, they seem to be quite large and delicious too! All the hot dogs are reasonably priced under 6,000 KRW.

Lastly, they also sell drinks such as Welch’s, Zero Coke, regular Coke, Sprite, and bottled water. The owner mentioned (and kindly reminds customers at the counter) that if you order coffee from the café The Black Top Coffee right next door, you can get a 10–20% discount on the coffee.
Although I don’t remember the exact percentage, the coffee was already quite cheap to begin with — truly a rare, generous place these days. Hope this shop keeps thriving!
Top Sandwich Taste and Service
The menu item that Chubby Mom’s daughter picked at Top Sandwich was the Carrot Râpé Sandwich! She’s a huge fan of carrot râpé and loves carrots in general, so she ordered it without hesitation. The photo below shows the actual Carrot Râpé Sandwich, and… it’s really substantial! It’s packed with fresh vegetables, so just looking at it makes you feel full. Even though it’s cut in half, each half is enormous.
It’s so big that even most adults would have trouble taking a single bite—making you wonder, “Will this even fit in my mouth?”
It was almost perfectly round… a giant “cannonball” sized sandwich that Chubby Mom’s daughter struggled to finish, but she gave it her all.
As you can see in the photos, all the vegetables were fresh, with not a single wilted piece. The carrot râpé had a really crisp, fresh taste! Plus, with egg, cheese, and a bit of ham inside, you’re getting a good amount of protein along with the massive amount of vegetables. Because it’s so loaded with veggies, it’s filling, healthy, and really great for a diet.
That day she only tried the Carrot Râpé Sandwich, but she definitely wants to try every sandwich at Top Sandwich. It’s truly perfectly suited to her style.
Other sandwiches are probably just as gigantic, and the reviews online were all excellent. On top of that, each sandwich costs under 8,000 KRW in Seoul’s Yongsan district… such a steal! Truly highly recommended.
And then, following the owner’s suggestion, she grabbed a cup of coffee from the neighboring café, The Top Black Coffee! As mentioned earlier, if you order coffee along with a sandwich, you get 10–20% off the coffee price. Plus, when you order, the staff will bring the coffee over to your table themselves… such generosity!
There’s no need to mention how friendly the owner is. Chubby Mom’s daughter never even leaves reviews for unfriendly places, but here, the staff were incredibly kind… really made the experience feel warm and welcoming. She left completely satisfied and full—everything was devoured cleanly, of course.
