Hunter Rain Boots Recommendation (Hunter 210mm, Runs Large, 225mm Also Possible, Hunter Kids, For Adults but Kids' Version, Monsoon Season Prep, Hunter Rain Boots, Musinsa, Honest Review, Self-Purchased, No Ads)
Another post coming in almost every day! (I'm like that chatterbox who never leaves… hehe)
Today, I’m going to share a post about the Hunter rain boots (a.k.a. wellies) that my mom recently bought for me to prepare for the rainy season. (drumroll)
Anyone out there still without a pair of rain boots? Gather around~!!!

Chubby Mom’s daughter (that’s me!) had never worn rain boots in her entire life—except back in elementary school…! (shrink into embarrassment)
But recently, with heavy rain in the forecast and the rainy season fast approaching, I had a sudden realization and rushed to the internet to finally get myself a pair of rain boots...!
Ta-da…!! It’s the one and only Hunter rain boots!
I know these are basically the national rain boots that almost everyone already wears ㅠㅠ but they’re just too cute not to recommend… so here I am posting about them… (shyly shy)
The pair I bought is called “Hunter Kids First Classic Rain Boots”, and the color is ivory. (The name and size are written on the box!)
Hunter Kids First Classic Rain Boots – Ivory
- Price: 89,000 KRW
(Can be found for less on Musinsa or discount websites) - Size: 210mm
- Where to Buy: Musinsa
- Features:
- Slim and makes your feet look smaller
- Light color gives a fresh, non-bulky look
- Flat style with a slightly lowered toe
- Although labeled 210mm, it runs a bit large—can fit up to 225mm
- Much more affordable than the adult version!
Chubby Mom’s daughter has small feet, usually wearing sneakers in sizes 220–230mm. For example, I wear size 220 in Adidas Gazelle and Bermuda! So while considering the size, I realized that I could actually go with the kids’ version.
The adult version looked bulky and had a raised sole that made the design less cute. But when I checked out the kids’ version, it looked so neat and pretty—so I decided to go with that one!
Drrrrrumroll… When you open the box… (let’s open it together—so exciting!)
The boots are nicely wrapped in paper. Digging through the bottom, you’ll find some product info and pamphlets like in the photo below… (skip skip) And once you peel back the wrapping paper—ta-da! That’s when you finally meet our lovely rain boot friend!
Finally, here they are!
The kids’ version has a flat sole and a lowered toe, which makes them look so much cuter than the adult version!! (Just my personal opinion, of course…)
The sole and the inner lining both feature the Hunter logo—such thoughtful little details!
The front of the boots has the Hunter logo neatly centered… (Oh, so clean and sharp…)
The size is clearly marked on the sole.
Like I’ve been saying… maybe because of the light color, they look super clean and sparkling…!!!
I can’t wait to try them on… I really, really want to wear them!!!!!
Chubby Mom’s daughter snagged a great deal on Musinsa—originally 89,000 KRW but got it for 74,900 KRW!!!
When I was searching, Musinsa had the best price, so that’s where I bought them. However, there might be other sites with even better discounts, so make sure to compare prices carefully before buying!!!
Below are some photos of me actually wearing the boots.
I wanted to show them on a light background, so I took the pictures on my bed sheets (giving it my all!).
Because they’re white, they don’t look bulky at all—actually, they look even prettier! (Praising light colors like a true white color enthusiast…)
When worn, the boots come up to about the middle of my calves, and like I keep saying… compared to the adult version, they look so much cleaner, slimmer, and just way cuter!! (Just my personal opinion.)
Also, the sizing runs big—though these are labeled 210mm, I usually wear Adidas size 220 and Nike sneakers at 230, and these fit me perfectly!!! (Big deal, so keep that in mind!!!!!)
In front of Chubby Mom’s daughter’s workplace, even a little heavy rain turns the street into a mini Han River… Every time it rained a lot, I always came back with wet shoes… (so pitiful…)
But now that I’ve finally bought rain boots…!!! At last, I don’t have to be afraid of the Han River anymore!!
Hooray! (choo choo~~!)
If you have small, slim feet…!!
Don’t spend a fortune on the adult version—definitely consider the kids’ version too!
They’re just so cute, and I truly recommend them!! (Sparkle sparkle…)
This is always an ad-free report from Chubby Mom’s special correspondent…
So, with a happy heart, I’ll wrap up today’s post… (blush blush)
Next time, I’ll introduce another item…!! (Lots of love and attention, please!!)
Everyone, make sure to prepare well for the rainy season ahead…!!!
Alright then, that’s it from me—bye bye!!!
