Unfortunately, I already tossed the box after opening it (oops 😅), so I’ll just be showing you the product itself. Hope you don’t mind!
Round Lab’s Birch Moisturizing Cream is one of Chubby mom’s absolute favorites.
She has very sensitive skin, so anything too oily or heavy usually causes breakouts right away. But out of all the products she’s tried, this one stands out!
It’s light, fresh, and non-greasy, and most importantly — it doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts.
It’s seriously the perfect daily moisturizer that feels super comfortable and gentle on the skin. Total winner. 💙
I’ve really fallen in love with the entire Round Lab Birch line — it’s so gentle, never causes breakouts, and works beautifully on sensitive skin.

Today, I want to introduce a sunscreen that Chubby Mom’s family has been really loving and using regularly. It’s great for both men and women, completely fragrance-free, and—best of all—there’s absolutely no white cast! (Seriously, no white cast?

Back to the moisturizer...
At the very top of the tube — both front and back — you’ll find the expiration date and manufacturing date printed clearly.
(So if you’re like Chubby mom and already tossed the box, just check the top of the tube to find this info!)
The product is good for 3 years from the manufacturing date. (That’s pretty long!)
So technically, you could keep it around for a while...
BUT — because it’s so gentle and hydrating, you’ll probably end up using it a lot and going through it faster anyway 😂
The opening comes with a simple flip-top cap like this — click, click, easy to open and close.
And when you first open the lid, you’ll see a layer of foil seal inside, since it hasn’t been used yet. (Hygiene level: 100% 👍)
So, when you open a new tube, you’ll find that it’s sealed again on the inside with foil.
After peeling it off, just twist the cap back on and squeeze out the cream like usual.
(I know, I know — everyone knows how this works… but here I am explaining it in detail anyway 😂)
Now, once you peel off the foil and take a peek inside... you’ll notice something interesting:
The cream looks blue inside the tube!
Even though it comes out white when you squeeze it out… from the top, it definitely looks blue.
It’s honestly kind of fascinating!
Tada!! Close the lid again and squeeze out the cream, and here comes a fresh, bright white cream — so pure and white!
When you spread a little on the back of your hand, you can see tiny clear beads scattered throughout, just like in the photo below!
I hadn’t even noticed these beads when applying the cream on my face, so I was surprised while filming this review...
After checking the product description, I learned these are called “moisture capsules”, which dissolve into the skin and provide even more powerful hydration!
So cool, right?
The photo below shows the cream after I spread it out a bit more, smoothing it across my skin!
When applied in a slightly thicker layer like this, it looks even more moisturizing and dewy.
Most of the moisture capsules have absorbed by now, but you can still see a few tiny beads remaining here and there.
In the photo below, I’ve spread and gently patted the cream even more thoroughly!
By this point, all the moisture capsules have fully burst and absorbed into the skin...
You can clearly see a subtle glow and a healthy hydration radiance in the photo.
Just in case anyone worries this glow might be oily, check out the blotting paper test right below!
It’s really 99% moisture, no oil shine at all!!
Oh, and one more thing — Round Lab Birch Moisturizing Cream is completely fragrance-free.
That makes it perfect for anyone sensitive to scents!
Ta-da! Just in case you were curious, here’s the blotting paper test I actually did!
I pressed the blotting paper really firmly — seriously, I went all in to check for any oiliness.
And as you can see in the photo below, there’s almost no oil at all!
That beautiful glow? It’s 100% from hydration, not grease! (👏👏👏👏)
